MESSAGE FROM PROF. NANDI
Dear Friends,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome all of you to the official ETCE, JU website. As you may know, our university has recently been granted the status of one of the top 5 universities in India by the UGC. Our department, continuing its pioneering traditions, is the first department in the university to have its own separate website. The Electronics & Telecommunication Department of Jadavpur University is now 44 years young and is steadily pacing towards a new millenium. It is well known in the society that our department is now a citadel of engineering education and higher learning in India. The quality of students at intake, the profile of their employment/higher education abroad after graduation and the R&D activities by the teachers of the department are the pointers to this effect. I invite all of you to read about our department from this website and appreciate our achievements in academic and extracurricular fields of social significance contributed by the teachers, students and the alumnus of the department. I further welcome your interaction and suggestions on academic matters and on aspects of the welfare and growth of the department in general.
